Bridging the Inclusion Gap

Despite increasing awareness, vocational opportunities for neurodivergent individuals remain limited in India. Families often face challenges in accessing structured programs that support long-term independence.

SOAHM addresses this gap through a scalable and replicable model that combines:

  • Skill development
  • Behavioral support
  • Community inclusion
  • Market-linked opportunities

This initiative aligns with national priorities on inclusive education and skill development, while reinforcing Rotary’s commitment to community service and social impact.

A Collective Vision for Inclusion

The program is supported by a collaborative network of Rotary leaders, therapists, educators, and community stakeholders, all working towards a shared vision of inclusion.

Representatives from the highlighted the deeper purpose of the initiative:

“This is not just a program—it is a movement. We are building confidence, creating opportunities, and restoring dignity. Every individual deserves a chance to contribute meaningfully to society.”

Looking Ahead

The vocational program is expected to benefit 30 young adults in its initial phase, with plans to expand across districts through strategic partnerships and community engagement.

SOAHM invites parents, educators, CSR partners, and institutions to join this mission and contribute to building a future where inclusion is not an exception, but a norm.
